The Dalian Gamma Knife Center has treated 438 patients with different tumors since September 2000.
. Lung carcinoma 145 patients;
. Hepatocarcinoma 93 patients;
. Pancreas carcinoma 46 patients;
. Rectum carcinoma and pelvic metastase 38 patients;
. Metastase carcinoma of bone 26 patients;
. Carcinoma of esophagus 13 patients;
. Carcinoma of kidney 12 patients;
. Cervical carcinoma, carcinoma of prostate, hyperplasia of prostate,
. Lymphoma, carcinoma of oophoroma, and others 65 patients;

Result of short term:

1. the relief rate of cancer pain was 95% in 48 patients with cancer pain;
2. the improvement of clinical symptom was 94% in all of patients;
3. the tumor in 287 patients shrinked, or disappear among 306 patients who received CT test in 1-3 months after treatment.
4. Side effect: nausea, hypodynamia, and hypoleukocytosis in a few patients.

1. patient, man, 61 years old, 6months after carcinoma of stomach operation. Tumor diameter 4.5cm x 3.0cm. Gamma knife treatment in 18th of Oct. Fractional dosages 550cGy,6 times. CT test 2 months after treatment.
